MarketMagnify Updates: Rupee snaps six-day winning streak, down 6 paise against US dollar

Snapping a six-day winning streak, the rupee fell 6 paise to 66.26 against the US dollar in early trade on Tuesday, ahead of the bimonthly money policy review by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The domestic currency had settled at 66.20 per dollar on Monday amid persistent dollar selling by banks and exporters. Strong foreign inflows in the domestic stock market too helped lift the momentum.
