Sensex, Nifty under pressure; BHEL rises 4%

The market is flat with the benchmark indices struggling. The Sensex is down 21.71 points at 27449.10 and the Nifty is down 12.40 points at 8283.05. About 947 shares have advanced, 1578 shares declined, and 147 shares are unchanged. BHEL, Vedanta, Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel and Maruti are top gainers while Coal India, Bharti, Lupin, Reliance and NTPC are among losers.
