Sensex, Nifty closed on account of Ganesh Chaturthi

Indian stock market will remain shut on Thursday, 17th September on account of a public holiday. The BSE, NSE will remain closed for "Ganesh Chaturthi".
Benchmark indices ended higher on Wednesday amid possibility of the U.S. Federal Reserve rate hike. The S&P BSE Sensex rose 1 per cent higher to record its highest close in over two weeks, while the 50-share NSE index rose 0.89 percent to close at 7,899.15 points.
